We are the living water that has been sent, as heralds, to share this new spiritual message of transformation to the rest of the world. By living the teachings and doing the will of our Father in heaven we become, each of us in our own way, the living revelation, and it is the living revelation that will transform the world.
Worry less about The Urantia Book and its destiny. It is what it is. Nowhere in its pages are we asked to obsess or worry over its destiny. Nowhere in its pages are we asked to defend, vindicate, or uphold it. We are asked, however, quite pointedly, to become living heralds of a new age, to grow the Father’s love within us and share that love lavishly with others. Let the revelation of The Urantia Book take care of itself. Do not get lost in its pages. We are called to be servants to all, to be guiding lights to those that are lost and struggling, to be lovers of all of God’s children.
Those of us who have been gifted with the knowledge of The Urantia Book are called to elevate those lost in darkness—to shine love’s light into the lives of others and to start them on their journey home. We are asked to uplift those who aren’t, to those who may become. We are asked to illuminate the darkness—of those lost and who are looking for a path—through our actions and with the teachings of divine ministry.
We must ascend inward and touch the love of the Universal Father, the mercy of the Eternal Son, and the ministry of the Infinite Spirit within ourselves, that which shows us how to love, and then share it with the finite children of the Divine to help them move more solidly into the embrace of that magnificent source of love. [I use the proper noun “Divine” to define all of the spiritual personalities and energies made available to help in growing each of us spiritually.]
We are to be ambassadors of the kingdom here, in an environment that is uniquely challenging. We are also asked to assist God’s children, wherever we find them, on our journey to Paradise. We are to introduce them to the spiritual energies needed to survive and gently nudge them into the arms of love. We are asked to be the special liaison of the source here, on this wayward planet, and throughout our journey among the boundless stars.
Very few are offered the training or the opportunities that have been arranged for us on this double default planet. Our training, should we choose, is the most advanced training the universe has to offer. We have been given the opportunity to be the frontline messengers of the Divine in reclaiming those who are adrift, and bringing them back into the orbit of love.
We are not only commissioned to help those in most need here; we have been recruited, should we accept, to help those in most need using our training and experience all the way to Paradise.
We are the shock troops of acquired love, we have dedicated our eternal lives to representing the Divine during our voyage immersed in time and space and into the foreseeable future, to love and nurture all of God’s children regardless of where they are on their journey towards the embrace of the Divine.
We are asked to touch and grow those who vacillate on the edge of being, into the embrace of our Creator’s love. We have been forged in the fire of rebellion. Our faith has been tested in the arena of despair and we are overcoming. The disorder of this world has been replaced by the joy of a spirit-led life. We may be the few that can reach to the end of the finite and find the lost children of God and show them a way home. Our job is to become predictable in choosing to do the will of God in our lives so we can be trusted with his children.
Life on this planet is a school for us and we have an extraordinary workbook—The Urantia Book. Most of us are not aware of the importance or sacredness of the classes we’ve been offered. To love, we must love. To represent the Divine, we must love. To grow in love and in recognition of the spiritual forces around us, we must love. To be a spiritual herald, we must love. To love is to share our lives with the Divine, for the Divine is love and has a need of us to touch his children for him–not just here in this brief speck of time, (this is just the beginning), but throughout all of time and space. We are called upon to touch the spiritually lost and confused—with love.
Perhaps each of us can spend less time in study hall, and more time out in the world learning how to love everyone, forgive everything, promote peace, and judge not. These are the requirements of a spiritual herald—a herald, through experience, that has weathered the worst of separation from the Divine, made that supreme choice to do the will of God throughout life, and makes the choice to lift the unlovely towards the source of love within, while introducing them to the source of love without.
On our journey we will be tested. Are we willing to align our will with the will of the Father? Are we willing to follow the leadings of our master teacher, the Spirit of Truth? Are we willing to work in partnership with our local universe Mother Spirit and her angelic forces in her well-nigh unlimited environments? Are we willing to support and advance the agenda of the Supreme in all things? These are the requirements of the spiritual herald—not just in the here and now, but in the eons of time to come.
We are in the most advanced training grounds for the Divine’s elite forces of love. Will you do the work to sign up?
Are you qualified? Can you minister to the unlovely, the unloved? Will you allow spirit to mold you into a being that is as crucial as it is rare? Are you willing to venture out into the unknown depths of the finite and return with a salvaged soul of the Divine? This is our primary purpose here, on our native shores of Urantia. We have been given an incredibly rare opportunity in all of eternity.
And the real beauty of this is that we are capable of doing this, becoming a herald, within any livelihood, any environment, any handicap, any station in life, any place where we can love another child of God.
Yes, we can do this. The world needs us.
