Second Miler Grant Program
Joshua Ben Joseph Project: A Full Length Feature Film Introduction to The Urantia Book
Second Miler Grant
In 2014, David Kantor released a wonderful feature length film called Re-Imagining Jesus, which is still viewed regularly on Amazon Prime, with a revised version a few years later on YouTube
Among viewers’ comments were “exquisite and breathtakingly beautiful”, “spell-binding photography and flawless narration”, and “an incredible gift to the world”.
David’s next project, through his Joshua Ben Joseph Project and his company Urantia Book Films, is a 90-minute film introducing The Urantia Book.
One of his objectives is to provide an introduction to The Urantia Book for Christian clergy and educated lay persons. He also wants to help existing readers understand some of the repercussions of the fourth epochal revelation leading to the fifth. And he’d also like to “facilitate strong and productive identity formation among readers…”
David’s explanation of what inspired him to undertake this project is inspiring in itself: “This project is an outgrowth of my conviction that spiritually dedicated religious leadership in the world today needs the revelation contained in The Urantia Book and that with my own life I should be doing everything I can to help make that happen.”
